"Onur! We had a call planned for today at 2 pm Amsterdam time!"

"Oh really? I'm sorry, we were on the road."

....classic Tine and Onur communication. Tine, born and raised in Germany and living in Amsterdam now; working mostly on her computer remotely and does 85% of her meetings by Zoom, Google Hangouts or FaceTime. Whereas, Onur travels 85% of the day from A to B having face to face meetings in a city where around 20 million people live and relationships are built on loyalty and trust.

We take our cultural background often for granted and do not give it too much attention and even worse, we sometimes ignore it or even get upset when things turn out differently than expected or we were used to. Ignoring this can cause serious damages to relationships and business relationshipsorganisational cultures and projects. I would go that far, that it can end a relationship before it even started. However, being aware and even embracing cultural differences can lead to beautiful connections, projects, shared vision and unleashing potential and creativity.

We choose to learn from each other, started to love each others cultures and integrating the different value systems in our NOY culture, which shows us a broader perspective to the world. Life is beautiful and different cultures and values make it exciting. We invite you to be our guest to dive into our culture to get to know us and our stories.
